David Haye v Dereck Chisora Boxing Betting

Saturday 14th July see’s one of the most talked about, controversial and anticipated boxing matches taking place between David Haye and Dereck Chisora. After both boxers came to blows at the press conference after Chisora’s last fight there has been nothing talked about more in the World of boxing than the fight between these two heavyweights.

It is highly unlikely but the draw could happen and just about all the bookies have that down at 33/1, but as we said, highly unlikely.

When it comes to the method of victory there is a little bit more betting value available. The bookmakers favourite outcome in the fight is a David Haye win Knock Out, Technical Knock Out or Disqualification, with Paddy Power and William Hill offering odds of 6/4 which looks quite appealing, especially as Haye was suggesting the plan is to stop him early in the fight. Next in the betting is for Haye to win by either Decision or Technical Decision with a few bookies offering 2/1, including Sky Bet and Betfred.

If you feel that an upset is on the cards then having a look at the Dereck Chisora methods of victory will certainly excite you. If you think Chisora will win by either KO, TKO or Disqualification then you need to head to either BetVictor or Stan James as both of these bookies have the odds at 7/1 while some are as short as 9/2. 7/1 is also available for Chisora to win by either Decision or Technical Decision with Sky Bet and Bodog offering those odds, with some bookmakers again be as short as 9/2.

In the round betting we would be here all day going through the odds but instead of betting on the specific round the fight is won in you can spread the chance and bet on the group of rounds. Haye to win in rounds 4-6 gets odds of 7/1 with a few bookies including Boylesports and Betfred and 15/2 with Sky Bet for a Haye win in rounds 9-12.

On the Dereck Chisora side of the round group betting there is plenty of betting value available with the bookies offering big odds. Apart from Chisora winning on points the bookies think the most likely time for Chisora to win is in rounds 7-12 with Paddy Power and Sky Bet offering the best betting odds of 10/1, whilst an earlier win in rounds 1-6 gets odds of 11/1 with Sportingbet. Narrowing it down again the odds start to get bigger with 16/1 available on Chisora to win in rounds 1-4 or 9-12 with Ladbrokes. All the other outcomes for Chisora to win range between 18/1 and 33/1 with Ladbrokes and BetVictor consistently offering the best odds.
