England and Australia meet in the fourth Ashes Test on Friday and we are all set for another thrilling five days of action from Chester Le Street in Durham.

With the Three Lions 2-0 up and just two matches left to play in the series, they have retained the Ashes, but will now want to win the series and show they’re the better team by some distance. As for Australia, their aim has to be to draw 2-2 and build some momentum ahead of the series Down Under this winter.

The last Test at Old Trafford was one that Australia dominated, but they ran out of time – much down to the Manchester weather – and weren’t able to beat their opponents. If there had of been no rain, we might just have seen the Aussies come into this one 2-1 down and the series would be alive.

However, that wasn’t the case and although that would have been a big disappointment for Michael Clarke, he needs to raise the spirits in his group and look to get a victory in the North East.

When looking at the betting odds for the fourth Test, you can see that Clarke’s men are being offered at 10/3 with Sportingbet, which could be good value.

England might be leading the Ashes 2-0 and know that the Urn isn’t going anywhere this summer, but you would say they can still raise their game, especially from the Test at Old Trafford.

If at their best, the Three Lions are sure to come out on top and the batsman need to perform at bit better here, especially the top three. Alastair Cook, Joe Root and Jonathan Trott struggled for runs last time out and must perform better here.

Cook’s form might be a bit of a concern, but there might be a big innings for the England captain here.

With the ball, there aren’t likely to be changes, but Graham Onions and Chris Tremlett have both be included in the squad, so could be given the chance to show what they can do here.
